Seems to do the job well. Bought the 7500A A3 printer/ A4 fax/ A4 to A3 scanner as I wanted the ability to print A3, it also states that it scans A3 but this is achieved by stitching 2 x A4 scans together with the supplied software although I have not used this yet. The fax took me a little while to set up but this was more due to our office telecoms than the machine and happy to say it has made our old faithful stand alone fax redundant, freeing up some space by not having separate fax & printer. Quality is good for normal office applications and I have not experienced multiple sheets being picked up as I had read on other reviews for this machine. If it carries on like it has I will be very happy and I do believe that HP build quite robust printers. Only down side is the price of genuine HP inkjet cartridges.

We are now on our THIRD (yes third) replacement HP7500A. Between software issues and the now endemic HP paper jam 'ghost', we have practically torn out all our hair! We have six HP printers in the office and the last four purchased (7500A, 8500, CP2025, 8500A) have all had issues with either software incompatibility or non existent paper jams which we have wasted hours fixing. Another frustration is that some of the software that comes with their printers doesn't install properly and HP (on the rare occasions they actually have an answer to a customer issue)recommend downloading patched software from their website.

What this boils down sadly to is that HP is no longer a reliable printer (this model is possibly the worst in the range for trouble), their quality control is awful, customer service sound exasperated when they answer the phone. Worst of all they deny these is any widespread issue. Just google any HP issue and there are thousands of complaints - HP pretend the complaints exist!

I'm sure there are people who have bought a 7500A and got a good one. We have had three lousy ones that have driven us to the edge of madness and wasted hundreds of man hours. You pay your money and take your choice (or risk) in this case.

I bought this printer purely for its A3 printing capability, so the scanner (doubles as a fax) was a bonus. i bought it to replace my HP Officejet K7100, which is a superb machine, but it uses a tri colour cart and my particular printing needs mean that I heavily use yellow, followed by half as much blue and hardly any red, so I needed a single cart machine.

The HP Officejet 7500A seems like a good replacement and ink use looks to be good value. You get the small carts with the machine, which get you up and running, but you really need the XL carts for economy of scale - especially the black as the XL is three times bigger than the standard black.

Print quality is vey good, blacks are pin sharp and do not show feathering. I print out maps onto matt inkjet paper and they result in a really smooth texture, vibrant and no sign at all of any banding or other artifact.

When you select inkjet papers, the machine is slower and puts down more ink (as do all machines I own) but when I used the same graphic onto white inkjet self adhesive lables and used just the plain paper setting, the printer just churned them out and the print quality was as good as when I had used the inkjet paper setting.

The down side of this machine compared to my K7100 is that it does not have a command for booklet printing (or duplex). You can get around this by having the printer do 2 A4's onto an A3 and then manually flip the paper back into the tray and print the reverse side - so on a 12 page booklet, I select it to print pages 12 and 1 (in that order) and then put the paper back in again on the flip side and tell it to print pages 2 and 11 etc etc. it s more time consuming but it is an effective workaround.

When an ink starts to run out the machine advises you that you can carry on running until you think the ink quality drops, but to be frank, once that warning appears, there is not that much life left in the cart.

Photo reproduction is surprisingly good for a 3 colour machine (plus black)with accurate colour and tone transfer.

The machine is fairly quiet and the vibration through the desk is less than my K7100 produced.

Bottom line - very good at most things, does not do booklet printing but there is a workaround and the inks seem to give a very good result but with economical running costs - seems to compete very well against copy shop prices. Buy the machine with a set of XL carts.

I guess there isn't much more you can say about a macbook - it is an excellent machine although if you have moved from a pc it takes a little learning - but so far so great. I use it mainly for photo processing work and I love the fact that I don't get crashes anymore -

An amazing laptop, had it only 4/5 months now but have had no problems with it at all. Works incredibly well and couldn't ask for a better computer.
I have the 15 inch and have seen friends with the 13 inch, the 13 inch looks a little more portable but I use it most at home anyway and it's by no means not transportable, it's still a very slim laptop.

This laptop is by far the best thing I've ever owned! I understand why people get annoyed because of the price in comparison with other top brand names. A few years ago I was a complete Mac hater! I never wanted anything to do with Apple because i too thought it was a money machine that drained the customers of all their cash to keep up with the latest gadgets. Last year though, i made the plunge! I'm a musician and gamer, and i wanted something that would really benefit me in these areas (more so for the music though). Since buying this machine, I haven't looked back. I can't believe how fast and smooth this laptop is. Apple really have made something that works so well in the users hands. At first it takes a LOT of getting used to, especially coming from Windows, you'll find that sometimes you get frustrated, but surely that will only last for a limited time, because the more you get used to the layout of Mac OS X, the easier it gets (obviously). I love the little details on it too, for instance, you don't have to clog your desktop up with a million and one folders, but it has this nifty little platform at the bottom where you can place all your preferred applications and what not (I understand you can also do this on Windows.) The graphics processor is also fantastic! It has incredible detail and it's also very powerful. They keyboard layout is easy and quick, when it comes to turning volume up, down, fast forwarding etc. It's so great how user friendly this thing is!
What's also great about Mac is if you still have programs or things you use in Windows that can't really be used on Mac (though you could purchase the 'Crossover' application) you can create a Windows partition, which basically means that you can have Windows 7 (as i have) on your mac! I don't use the windows partition so much, but it REALLY comes in handy when you want to do a few bits and bobs with the windows program (i also prefer partition as oppose to running Windows next to OS X in parallel mode, because in parallel, it runs not even at half the speed, it takes up too much ram to run as smoothly as you like). Even some of the Apps on this machine are awesome. GarageBand for instance, is such a simple music creation application. I've been writing and recording music for over 10 years now and used many different programs and packages, but GarageBand is by far the easiest and simplest to use. I've never found myself wanting anything else since using it. Anything I need to do, GarageBand usually provides me with the service (Though i'll probably move to Logic soon to keep up with the youngsters).
All in all, this is a great laptop. You can set up the desktop however you please, you can make things so user friendly it's sick! It's a really beautiful machine and i'm so glad i left my 'Apple Hater' days behind me. If you're considering buying this machine, i'd say go for it.

Really like this tablet. On it all the time. Took it on holiday, used it for films on the plane, games on the sunbed and free wi-fi in many places. Take HD video and pics with it. Very portable. Recommend it.

If you're sensible enough to do adequate product research before you buy (which you should be if you're buying something like this), you will find that this product has no SD card slot, and you have only the 16GB of internal memory supplied with the device. This is more than enough. Let's put that in context, assuming that you have 14GB available after the operating system and built-in apps:

You can store 6 high definition films at 2.3GB each (some can be much less)
You can store 20 standard definition films at 700MB each
You can store 3500 songs at 4MB each (Using Spotify takes no space if you're at home, and you can sync the playlists you want to take with you each time you go out)
You can store 4000 e-books at 3.5MB each
You can store 7000 pictures at 2MB each (taken with the 5 megapixel camera on the XOOM 2 ME)
You can store 280 magazines at 50MB each

Apps generally use a negligible amount of space, and any they do use is in utilising the aforementioned formats. For instance, on my Android phone with only 184MB internal memory and 2GB expansion, I have more apps than I could ever need. (Apps specifically designed for tablets will take up more memory, but not significantly so - games will use a bit more).

Let's face it; the only things you're likely to leave on there for any period of time after using them once, are the songs and the e-books. If you have a computer with a large hard-drive, any sensible user is going to regularly transfer images and videos between the two in order to refresh the content on their mobile device. Is 10 films not enough for a 10 hour flight? Even if you manage to watch them all, you will still have plenty of books to read or songs to listen to.

This is forgetting the possibility of using the MotoCast app where you can transfer files directly from your PC from any WiFi enabled location. Don't want to leave your computer running while you're out? Use a cloud storage solution. Amazon already gives you 5GB free.

I have personally never the seen the need for 3G in a tablet. If you have a 3G enabled smartphone with tethering capabilities, then just connect to it over WiFi with your tablet! If you don't have a 3G smartphone, then by all means buy a 3G tablet. If not, there is absolutely no reason to buy one.

Onto the other features of this tablet. The screen is stunning - with 1280x800 packed into an 8.2 inch screen, it has one of the highest pixel densities in its class at 184ppi. The colours are vivid and the text is crystal clear and sharp, even at the most obtuse viewing angles. There is a tiny bit of backlight bleed at the highest of viewing angles - but then no-one really looks at the screen from an angle of 178 degrees!

With 1GB of RAM (double the iPad 2) and 1.2GHz of processing power, this tablet is more than quick enough for the Honeycomb experience, and the interface is as smooth as any I've seen. That being said, Motorola have promised an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich, which should also run perfectly (as the specs of this tablet are in fact designed for an ICS operating system).

At the moment, I would say theres's absolutely no better tablet in its class (medium-range, paperback sized tablets). The Samsung Galaxy 7.0+ is too small for a satisfying video experience. 10.1 inch tablets are too big for a satisfying e-reading experience. Sure, we have the Samsung Galaxy 8.9 and 7.7 coming out, but the 7.7 is far more expensive for a smaller screen and not much more processing power and the 8.9 has inferior specs ad I still more expensive. All that being said, it is a slight disappointment that this device does not include an SD card slot, but if this is something you really require, then wait for one of the other devices, or buy a 7.0+ for £20 more and a smaller screen size with a lower resolution. There is never a perfect device. You will always have to trade off on something over another. For me, the SD card was a small trade off, and I have tried to justify why, but overall it really doesn't detract from the awesomeness of the device.

If you are looking for a medium-size tablet that's portable, packed with power, has plenty of space for those who have lives outside their tablets, and is different from the same old iPad 2 (which it is far more powerful than, although the number of tablet oriented apps on the Android market is still inferior), then you should definitely buy the Xoom 2 Media Edition!

Additional point:
This runs Honeycomb. The only Android tablet that will run Ice-Cream Sandwich at launch is the Asus Transformer Prime (which will be an awesome device but is only comparable to the 10.1 inch version of the Xoom 2). No other tablet runs ICS 4.0. This will certainly be one of the first other than the Asus TP to do so.

Looks and feels good and is comfortable to hold for long periods of time. I just got this to check my messages and browse the internet while I was away from my computer. I watch a lot of YouTube videos and so was disappointed when this tablet couldn't play 1080p videos via the browser. Even 720p videos are laggy. When I updated to the latest Flash player (v11) it played a little better, but the video was tearing. And soon after the update, the video began to lag again to the extent where I could not watch the video.

A 720p MKV file played fine when copied to the internal memory, but a 1080p MKV file was extremely laggy. But a 1080p mp4 file (downloaded from YouTube) played very smoothly, so I suppose the file format will decide whether the Xoom 2 can handle the HD content.

Some resource intensive websites, like ebay, don't load correctly. They load but there are blank square areas on the page, which fill eventually, but sometimes not at all. Scrolling up and down the page can cause this to occur randomly.

The Motocast wireless file transfer program is useless. It will copy video files over from your computer if you tell it to, but it converts them to a lower resolution leading to extreme pixellation. You can stream songs over, but there is only the option to stream one at a time, which kind of defeats the purpose when you want to hear an entire album without interruption. This program also seems to block other wireless file transfer programs, like Pushdoc, so you will have to disable motocast before using such programs.

As far as tranferring data is concerned, you will be better off using a usb data cable to link to your computer. But this wire is not provided. Infact, even a manual is not provided. I paid £380.00 for this tablet and they couldn't even be bothered to throw in the basics.

There is some good news however. You can use a Micro-B USB HOST OTG Cable to connect a usb flash drive, which should resolve the limited internal capacity issue, as well as bypass the extremely annoying and useless Motocast program. Listen to all your songs and watch all your movies via the usb flash drive. Although for larger files, you may have to copy them over to internal memory. If it wasn't for the OTG cable, I would probably have returned this tablet.

In summary, I really do like this tablet and am willing to overlook its shortcomings, because apart from its inability to play HD videos via the browser on YouTube, it does exactly what I expected it to do. But after summarising all of it's flaws, I cannot in good conscience give this product five stars. Infact, while writing this review, I realised that the Xoom 2 only deserves three stars. Sorry Motorola, you will have to do better than this next time.

I've been waiting for a camera like this for many, many years. Having worked as a pro, I wanted a pocket camera in which I could gain full control, and with full manual settings on the S95, I have that. I especially love the white balance feature, which can be assigned to the front ring, excellent for indoor and for mood. In fact there are so many features I could harp on about, but the proof was in the test shots I took today, great macro at f2.0 with brilliant colour saturation on plant photos; the camera dealt brilliantly with the extremely harsh contrast scene I found (brilliant high colour temp white sky, with darkened buildings on the bottom 1/3rd & church steeple in the middle), after a few experiments, it came out best on, would you believe, the programmed landscape scene option! Anyway, there is so much to praise, I will therefore only mention the very few gripes. Careful with the flash (which can be reduced by up to 2 stops, Highly recommended that the user should try this!), I've managed to drop the camera twice now when turning the flash off, as it reduces back into the body with a lot of force, I'll get used to it, but the user needs to be wary of this at first. The battery life seems a bit short , but maybe I've just been playing with it a lot. At last, digital has finally caught up to where film was 10 years ago.
